Special Needs School Incursions

Service Description

- Special needs School incursions: 1 hours session that gently guides children and teens how to "feel their feelings", and safe ways to explore emotions. Sessions are inclusive with a focus on sensory awareness and neurodiversity. - Easy tools for children to find presence in the body and techniques on emotional regulation. Includes easy to learn somatic techniques on mindfulness, breath-work, gentle movements, positive affirmations to reframe thinking, free-style dance and music. All of these techniques are specially designed to have participants connect in with their bodies, and how to be present with the natural somatic sensations and emotions that arise. - School incursions are in accordance with Victorian School Curriculums from Foundation to Year 12, and current Victorian Working With Children Check. - Costs are from $20 per child, with a minimum group spend per hour. There may be travel costs quoted if there's greater distance to travel.
